This year, we are delighted to welcome a new Show Director and an exciting range of fresh ideas for the show and fete.

Thwing’s Got Talent

We are introducing a brand-new talent show, Thwing’s Got Talent, where anyone can step into the spotlight, share their skills, and enjoy their moment of fame.

Thwing’s Own Antiques Roadshow

We are also launching Thwing’s own version of the Antiques Roadshow, featuring John Hawley of Hawley’s Independent Auction House and Valuers, founded by John and Caroline Hawley and based in North Cave.

Before entering the auction world, John had an impressive football career as a forward for Hull City, Leeds United, Sunderland, and Arsenal.

Penalty Shootout

Knowing how much football is loved locally, we have also introduced a penalty shootout game for visitors to enjoy.

Live Entertainment

Visitors get to enjoy a lively performance by the Bridlington Red Admiral Majorettes, live music from the band, “Blowin’ a Hooley”, and the “Thwing Guitar Club”.

All this in addition to our regular village show, arts & crafts market, obstacle race, side stalls, tombola, and big prize draw. Not forgetting the licensed bar, hot food and ice cream.
