The Return of the Thwing Quiz to the Falling Stone

Several years ago, after the closure of Thwing's only village pub, the fund-raising quiz that was born there in 2007, was relocated - first to the Anvil Arms in Wold Newton, then to the Wold Newton Community Hall. Now, thanks to the recent refurbishment and reopening of the Falling Stone in Thwing, the event returns to its original venue and home.

The quiz will be hosted on the first Thursday of every month at the Falling Stone, Main Street, Thwing. Starting at 7:30 pm and featuring picture rounds, wipeouts, music, puzzles, general knowledge and more. Teams of up to four can enter and the entry fee is £2.50 per person. The quiz also has a raffle and donations of raffle prizes are welcomed.

The quiz is a fund raising event that supports the East Wolds Community Newsletter and donates to The Thwing and Octon Amenities Group in support of the Thwing Show, Fete & Craft Fair.

The return of the quiz promises lively but mostly fun competition and laughter.
